The IAP2 Foundations Program is a two-module, five-day program that provides a broad-based learning experience covering the foundations for meaningful community and stakeholder engagement. Based on what is widely recognized as the international gold standard in engagement planning – a rigorous, five-step planning process – the Foundations program is must-have training for practitioners and novices alike, and a requirement for those interested in professional public participation certification. The program includes:

Planning for Effective Public Participation (three days, a prerequisite for the Techniques module)

Techniques for Effective Public Participation (two days, can be taken immediately following the Planning module, or at a later date)
